Overdue Notice

Overdue fines will be due for each overdue notice and each overdue medium if the loan period has been exceeded.
An email reminder will be sent to the University´email address 3 days prior to the end of the loan period for the University of Greifswald´s students and members of staff; and 14 days prior to the end of the loan period for members of academic staff.

The 1^st overdue notice is due immediately after the loan period has been exceeded. Before the 2^nd and 3^rd overdue notices are issued there is a period of 14 days respectively.

All of the users, who have indicated an email address, will receive the overdue notice via email.

The due fine is defined in the Library´s Gebührenordnung (fee regulations). The fines can be paid in cash at the Central University Library.

It is not possible to carry out transactions (loans, renewals, reservations, ...) if fines are due exceeding €9.00. The user account will also be blocked if the fines are older than 3 months.

There are special conditions for members of academic staff at the University of Greifswald.
