The University Library´s facilities are closed on public holidays.
All of the Old University Library´s special collections (Pomeranica, Historic Books and Manuscripts) can be used in the reading room.
Furthermore, the library displays musicology resources in the open shelf area, which can be used on site, and some of which can be borrowed. The course reserved collection for the subject is also available in the Old University Library´s reading room.
A self-service terminal is available for taking out loans or returning resources outside of service hours. One coin-operated and two card-operated photocopiers can also be used.
The reading room offers a total of 52 workstations. Users also have access to two PC stations for search purposes and five further computers with internet access.
