Greifswald University Library serves as a central literature and information supplier for studying, research, and teaching. With its different locations it provides the university and the public with learning environments and working stations, it houses more than 2.2 mio. printed books, as well as thousands of electronic media and databases, and offers guidance and instruction.

Vaccination day in the Central University Library

The Rectorate, together with the Vaccination Center of the district of Vorpommern-Greifswald, has therefore organized a Vaccination Day for students on the university campus, bringing vaccination directly to you.

This vaccination day will take place on Monday, 26/07/2021 from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm in the meeting room of the Central University Library at Berthold-Beitz-Platz. The mRNA vaccine from BioNTech and the single dose vector vaccine from Johnson and Johnson are available. You do not need an appointment. Simply bring your ID card, your student ID card and - if available - your vaccination record.

Once again, the Rector's Office strongly urges to get vaccinated. Not only you will be protecting yourself and those around you, but you will be helping to ensure that we can return to more normalcy in the coming winter semester.

Kind regards and stay healthy
