Description of our projects
V:Scout is a digital, cross-platform, visual room information system, which was developed and adapted to the needs of the University Library by arTec Berlin. The system is now set up for the Departmental Library and for the Central University Library.
The EODOPEN project seeks to improve the accessibility of works of the 20th century in digital form. For example, Out-of-print and orphan works can be digitized. 15 partner libraries from 11 countries participate, develop workflows and tools. The goal is a common portal to improve the visibility of the works. The project runs from November 2019 to October 2023.
In a joint DFG project, 176 important medieval manuscripts from the 13th to 16th centuries in the the holdings of the library of the Ministry of Spirituality, the university library and the university archive in Greifswald were sighted, restored and digitized.
