Campus Delivery Service of the University Library
Staff and students at the university can use the Campus Delivery Service to request scans of articles or individual pages from the University Library’s physical collection, within the limits permitted by copyright law.
The articles will be sent by email. There are currently no charges for this service.
However, the service is subject to capacity constraints and depends on the availability of staff, since each scan requires staff resources. In some cases, requests may have to be declined.
In most cases, it is quicker to borrow the item or scan it yourself in the reading area.
A scan request for articles from journals and books can be initiated in the Discovery system immediately after a search, via an order button on the bibliographic record.
Usually, only a few additional details need to be provided. You must log into your user account to place an order.
One article is delivered per order. For essays from books, the Copyright and Knowledge Society Act (UrhWissG) applies:
- for academics (teaching and research), a maximum of 15 % of the total length of the work
- for students, a maximum of 10 % of the total length of the work
