Closed Stacks Library

The media located at the Closed Stacks Library (Magazinbibliothek am Schießwall) are not freely available in self-service (no opening hours). They can be ordered via the OPAC or the Discovery system instead. To order media online, click the “Order” button and enter your user identification number and password.
Journals and other items from the magazine that cannot be ordered online must instead be ordered using a white library form, which is available at all service desks.

Ordered media from the Closed Stacks Library – depending on their respective subject area – will be sent to the Departmental Library (Humanities and Theology), the Central University Library (Law, Economics, and Arts), or the Old University Library (Musicology).

Media from all subject areas that are to be used in the reading area can only be read in the Central University Library.

Orders from the library stack of the Greifswald University Library are made available in the Self-Service Pick Up Area across the service desk.

For orders from the library stack placed by research assistants and delivered to the institute by courier service, the delivery time may be delayed by one business day.
