The following notifications are only sent via email:

  • Reminders that loan period is coming to an end - 3 days prior to the end of loan period (for members of the academic staff - 5 days)
  • Reminders 34 days prior to expiry of user account
  • Recalls for reserved books which are on loan to academic members of staff

The following notifications will be sent either by email or post (if no email address saved):

  • Overdue notice
  • Notification that a reserved medium is ready for pickup (with costs if sent by post)
  • Notification that a medium requested by interlibrary loan is ready for pickup

Recall orders and invoices for unpaid fees are only sent by post.

There is no right to legal claim for non-receipt or non-delivery of the emails.

Only the university email address will be used for students and employees of the University of Greifswald.
