Diamond Open Access at the UB Greifswald
The University Library Greifswald also supports its researchers by promoting Diamond Open Access publication formats. These are often quality-assured and operated independently by scientific institutions and associations and offer alternatives to commercial approaches to charging fees, e.g., through Article Processing Charges (APCs) or Publish & Read Fees (PAR fees).

- Series or other academic publications from your department or institute can be first published Open Access in the university’s repository.
- As a matter of principle, the University of Greifswald also recommends that its authors publish all research data on which their publications are based in accordance with the FAIR principles (findable, accessible, interoperable, reusable) and link them to the corresponding publications.
