The first contact for questions in all facilities of the University Library are the respective Service Desks.

Qualified staff members are available at the desks who will help users with
- general orientation in the facilities of the University Library
- advice and assistence with questions about use (catalogue search, ordering, loans, interlibrary loans) and the services offered
- searches in catalogues, databases and other information materials.

Written enquiries can be sent by post (address on the right), by mail to ubinfouni-greifswaldde or via the Contact Form.
Subject-specific enquiries are passed on to the subject librarians.
Fees may only be charged for extensive searches.
Tours of the library as well as introductions and courses in the use of catalogues and databases are offered regularly. Enquiries about the dates can be made by telephone at 03834/420 1515. They are also made public in good time on the website of the University Library and on notice boards.
The meeting point for tours and courses is located in the centre of the foyer (under the brigde).
