Affiliation
In research publications, researchers declare their affiliation to at least one scientific institution or research organization. The attribution of authors to their institution is of high importance e.g. in assessing the publication achievements of persons or institutes as well as in accounting publication-based costs. In order to ensure correct attributions that are machine readable as well as understandable for individuals, it is essential to use standardised denotations for institutions.
Therefore, it is important that all academic and non-academic members of staff at the University of Greifswald (UG) and University Medicine (UMG) correctly declare their affiliation to the UG or UMG according to a consistent guideline.
The Affiliation Guideline [de / en] structures the standardised denotation of your affiliation.
