The Handschriftenportal offers information on over 130,000 manuscripts in German-speaking countries.

The Handschriftenportal serves as a central reference for the digitised manuscripts in German collections. The medieval manuscripts from Greifswald from the Digital Library of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern were imported into the HSP via an IIIF interface. The local manuscripts can be compared with the supra-regional collections in one interface.
